Hello.. I keep seeing you can send raw packets but I don't know how:
1) VBPCAP is now able to send packet in a raw format
I need to send packets to a specific game window.. like other packet sniffers do..
Please help me i've been looking all day for an answer.. thanks!

I am able to send raw packets. You will need to add this reference below.
Public Declare Function vpSendPacket Lib "VBPCAP.DLL" (ByRef packet() As Byte) As Long
You will then need to construct the entire header within the packet() array.
I think the easiest way is using ethereal and save a packet to a file. Write a function in VB that loads the packet file into a byte array.
Call this function vpSendPacket tmpByteArray()
tmpByteArray() contains the contents of the saved packet.
I have been successful at sending packets.

Cool. This looks like what I've been looking for, but I have a question regarding the CRC. I know it is a 32bit CRC, but is it the standard "CRC32"? Or is it some variant of CRC32 (such as CRC32POSIX or CRC32MPEG2), or maybe even using a different than normal polynomial (such as CRC32C, CRC32D, or CRC32Q)? I want to generate my own packet, but I don't know what the correct way to generate the CRC is.
