Hi. Trying to resolve MAC address's sitting behind my router. Whilst the Source <> Destination IP's resolve ok, I notice that the MAC in most cases is that of my router <> PC and not of the outside world. Is there a way around this so i only see internet MAC's <> PC ? Hope i explained this ok

Ok I'll admit right now that I don't know very much about MAC address or even whats in packets headers. I found this website below: www.codeguru.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-382421.htmlIts for finding the mac address of an XBOX. I used the above as a guide and modified it. It works to display my MAC address on packets I send, so I made it to display only the mac address of the computer on the other end. I say it finds the mac address of the other computer but I can't be sure, if I take away the filter that doesn't let it display my own MAC then it will successfully find mine so I think it works for showing the remote MAC addresses. Below is the source for the little program I made. I hope it displays the right MAC's for you. d.turboupload.com/d/1449923/macaddressexample.zip.htmlHope it works!

Hi. Thanks for the response. I tried that app + class module but still getting the same results. I reckon its a router thing but quite what i can do about it i have no idea.
What i was trying to achieve was a way of tracking players joining a game server, at present it uses their IP but because of dial up's and dynamic IP's i was after something more exact, hence the MAC.
Cheers...
